Srishti proudly presents Indian Classical Maestro Pandit Jasraj. To lovers of Indian classical music, Pandit Jasraj needs little introduction. In a career spanning half a century, he has established a reputation in India and abroad as one of the foremost male vocalists of Indian classical music. Trained under the Mewati Gharana, Pandit Jasraj brings to his performances a rich repertoire of ragas, an inimitable style of singing “khayals” as well as “bhajans” and other devotional genres, an opulent ornamentation of phrasing and a mellifluous and majestic voice.

Born in 1930 into a musical family, Pandit Jasraj received his earliest training from his father, Pandit Motiram and his brother, Pandit Maniram.
